Metal Print is a dye sublimation process where the ink is infused into a special coating on the metal which produces a glossy and vibrant end result.

Kamokuna Lava from Kilauea Volcano flowing at a temperature of 2000°F (1100°C) empties from lava tubes into the ocean at the Kamokuna ocean entry in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, forming numerous firefalls into the Pacific Ocean, creating new land, and making the Big Island of Hawaii even bigger. The Kamokuna entry began on the morning of July 26, 2016, when the “61G” lava flow, originating from Pu’u O’o, reached the ocean after more than three years without an ocean entry. A tripod and long time exposure were used to expose the image in the pre-dawn darkness, allowing the moving elements (lava, seawater and steam) to paint the camera sensor with a soft and dreamy motion effect. This picture was taken on August 10, 2016. In May, 2018 a new eruption commenced in the east rift zone, diverting the lava that had been feeding the 61G flow and Kamokuna entry away to an area of homes and farms to the east and north of Kamokuna.
